Hand wash with warm water and mild dish soap. Use a bottle brush for the interior if needed.

Do not submerge the bamboo lid. Rinse and wipe it clean, then air dry. Not dishwasher safe.

Passes The Standard. The body-contact components are the stainless steel bottle, the bamboo lid, and the silicone ring that seals the lid against the bottle. The bottle is food-grade #304 stainless. The lid is bamboo with a stainless steel carry loop. None of these are plastic.

ABOUT THE SILICONE

The silicone ring inside the lid seals the bottle when closed. It is food-grade silicone — not plastic; a silicon-oxygen polymer that is stable and inert under normal use. As a lid gasket sealing against the rim, silicone does not significantly degrade or shed microparticles.
