Contains limonene from the lemon peel oil; linalool and related constituents from the lavender oil.

Lemon peel oil is photosensitizing as a leave-on ingredient. In this rinse-off use the exposure is brief, but if you have very photosensitive skin, apply at night or rinse thoroughly before sun exposure.

Wet your face. Dispense a small amount into wet hands, lather briefly, massage onto skin in circular motions, and rinse with warm water.

For sensitive skin: patch-test on the inner arm before regular use.

This is a refill format with no pump — pour or scoop the cleanser into a soap dish, or transfer to a small jar with a pour spout if that suits your sink.

Passes The Standard. The body-contact components are the face wash itself, the glass bottle, and the metal cap. None is plastic. The formula is honey, saponified plant oils, plant extracts, vegetable glycerin, a fermentation product, xanthan gum, and essential oils. No synthetic fragrance, no parabens, no phthalates, no formaldehyde-releasing preservatives, no sulfates.
