Melt Face Cleansing Balm

Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil*, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil*, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil*, Emulsifying Wax NF, Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax, Pelargonium Graveolens (Geranium) Oil*, Salvia Sclarea (Clary Sage) Oil*, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract*.

Contains citronellol, geraniol, and related constituents of the geranium oil.

The structural wax is candelilla — a plant wax — not beeswax. The rosemary extract is the antioxidant; it keeps the oils from going rancid in the jar. No water-phase preservatives needed (no water in the formula).

Scoop a small amount onto dry hands. Massage into dry face — over makeup and sunscreen, into the skin. The balm melts as you work it in.

Add a splash of water and keep massaging — the balm turns milky as it emulsifies. Rinse with warm water and pat dry.

For a double cleanse (oil first, then suds), follow with a foaming face wash — standard practice if you wear sunscreen or makeup daily.

For sensitive skin: patch-test on the inner arm before regular use.

Passes The Standard. The body-contact components are the balm and the glass jar. The balm is plant oils, two plant waxes (one emulsifying, one structural), and two essential oils, plus rosemary extract as the antioxidant. No synthetic fragrance, no parabens, no phthalates, no formaldehyde-releasing preservatives, no sulfates.
