Beeswax Food Wrap Set — Three Sizes

Small: 7 × 8 in — cut lemons, cheese, small bowls.

Wraps may feel stiff and sticky the first few uses — that's the beeswax. Working them between your palms softens the coating and activates the self-cling.

Hand-wash in cool water with mild dish soap. Do not use hot water — heat melts the beeswax. Air-dry flat.

Do not: microwave, dishwash, use with hot food, or wrap raw meat.

At end of life: cotton composts once the wax and resin have worn off.

Passes The Standard.

We looked at nineteen ways to store food. Nine had plastic lids or plastic seals resting directly on the food. Four were "glass" sets with acrylic lids. Cling film is polyethylene, and it touches the food by design. Six passed.
This one: The body-contact components are the wax-coated cotton pieces. The coating is beeswax, tree resin, and organic jojoba oil — the standard formulation for the category.

Contains beeswax — animal-derived.

For anyone with bee-product allergies: this product isn't appropriate, though the exposure through food contact is much lower-risk than topical application.

Packaging is recycled paper and cellulose — cellulose film is regenerated plant fiber, not plastic.
